The African Heritage Foundation is a Registered Non Profit NGO

We are set up to address the immediate needs of the community in a specific area. We have made significant steps towards achieving the goals we have set for ourselves, as well as reacting to unexpected community requirements. Our work is funded by donations from individuals and the local business community.

We aim to be more than just a helping hand. We are goal oriented with a strong emphasis on education, mentoring and development The old adage “give a man a fish and he will eat for a day. Teach a man to fish and he will eat for a life time” is very relevant in terms of the philosophy of our foundation.

 

We want to make a difference in the lives of everyone we help so we have divided our work into three key areas. Heritage, Community & Environment. We call these our “Three Pillars” and they form the basis of the work and projects we undertake.

 

The African Heritage Foundation was created as a platform to make change happen one project at a time. Our hope is that more people will get involved and come up with and implement their own projects. Hopefully this cascading effect will create an impetus for change and ultimately a better future for everyone.
